I have been receiving popups from ads.yieldmanager.com ever since this evening. I have tried running Adaware, Spybot, PestPatrol and Spysweeper but to no avail. I followed all the prescribed instructions prior to posting the Hijackthis log.

Kindly excuse the duplicate post at http://www.geekstogo...showtopic=26528 , I accidently bumped it and so I am reposting my query.

Here is my computer's Hijackthis log,

I also downloaded and ran Ewido Security Suite and here are the results,

::Report End

P.S. The "*****" replaced my name in the result.

The popup frequency seems to have reduced greatly now although there is an occasional popup. The bad thing about this infection is that it keeps trying to download trojans and other malicious activeX content.

Thank you in advance for your help and time.
