I am looking for a recommendation for a NAS drive. it will be used in a small business enviornment for file sharing and backup. I'd like each computer to be able to map to part of the drive. I have multiple mapped drives accessing different folders. today, we are using one of our computers to do this using file sharing.

I don't need raid technology.

any suggestions or ideas.. there are so many out there.

thanks!

Small NetBuilder does a great job of reviewing different NAS's. You might want to give their site a look.

if this is business critical data, you may want to reconsider that. RAID 5 or RAID 6 can greatly decrease the chance of data loss and increases business availability of the data
