I have no sound anymore .Audio on my motherboard not working i have tried 2 different creative sound cards still no sound . what else can i do?

Hi mistrpc :)

The use of extra cards would require the installation of the drivers for that card.
Have you installed the drivers?

Please Go to
1: STARTand the click on RUN
2: Type in devmgmt.msc
3: Click Enter
4. Look for any entries with Yellow Exclamation ! marks or Red X's

when I try to play music "windows Media Playr cannot play the file because there is a problem with your sound device. There may not be a sound device installd on your computer".
I tried everything that I can possibly think of and then some.My audio is on my motherboard .When my sound went out I reinstalled the drivers again that didn't help .I went into my bios and disabled the audio .Installed sound card and drivers that didn't help I installed another card and drivers that didn't help either .When I go to sounds and devices everything is grayed out .I have no yellow exclamation marks or red x's.
