A friend of mine asked me to help him with his computer, he was having lots of probs with popups and shortcuts being loaded onto his desktop. He was running adaware and nortons, but probably wanst updateing either consistantly. I tried to run adaware but it would start up, so i tried loading it from a copy i had, it wouldnt start the installation program. Nortons would not run. I tried to load AVG it would not run installation. Luckly HiJackThis would run. I deleted several thing from the HJT first run (all things i knew to be ad programs and toolbars). Tried to load adaware again no luck. Heres a current HJT log. Not sure where to go next. Thanks for the help in advance.
