why can pentiums handle ddr2 and 5400 and not AMD...what kind of question is this?

I think you will find it true that not all pentiums handle ddr2 and that not all AMD's are unable to handle ddr2. Just go by the manufacturers specifications for the specific product you are interested in and you won't go wrong.
