Hello,
I have just installed a NETGEAR WIFI to my existing service provided iconnect 622 modem. I have had the professionals confirm my PC and WIFI can connect to the NET on another Modem. It has taken hours for eventally to install the WIFI. I find I cannot connect to the NET with WIFI but I can under normal ethernet connection with modem and PC. I believe there may be settings or a compatability problem but I am at a loss.

Anyone advise?

Thanks MAPT

Your netgear wireless router may have a password set for wireless internet access. You have to enter that same password in the wireless adapter's connection software. Without the password, the wireless adapter cannot connect to the internet through your router.

To see what the wireless password is (if any) in your router's settings, open a web-browser and type http://192.168.0.1 in the address bar and press <Enter>
