I did a search and found several issues but no resolutions for this problem. I have a Dell Studio 17 laptop. Worked fine last night but now .... After loging in and putting in the password all I get is a black screen with the mouse showing.. Ive let it sit, Ive restarted, nothing seems to help. Any ideas?

Restart computer in Safe Mode with Networking, go to Dell's site, enter your service tag number, get fresh video card driver. Uninstall current one, install fresh one.
