Hi All,

Here is my question. What is the difference between the Phenom II and the Phenom II x4 processor? I am comparing HP CPUs: Model Numbers HPE-112y and p6230y sold at Best Buy. They both say quad core. Any suggestions? Main use for the computer will be to run Photoshop CS4. Maybe light video editing--nothing fancy.

Any help?

Phenom II is the brand name.
The x4 means the number of cores on it. x2 is dual-core, x3 is triple core and x4 is a quad-core.
