Hi

I decided to configure my computer into a dual boot. Originally Vista, to XP and Vista. XP messed up the Vista boot drive. So I decided to run XP entirely on its own. Everything seems to be working apart from the display, I can only use 800 by 600 and the internet looks funny. In device manager there is a ! VGA. I looked at it and there is no driver. I have look everywhere and tried downloading loads of drivers, but as yet nothing works.

Thanks

The proper source of drivers for a branded PC or laptop (eg Packard Bell, HP, Dell etc.)is that particular manufacturer's website, unless the device was fitted since it left the factory (eg a new sound or video card).

For on-board video and sound drivers on a home-built or custom-made PC, drivers will be avilable from the motherboard manufacturer's website.

Post the make & model details of:

1. The PC/Laptop

OR

2. The Motherboard

OR

3. The make/model of video card if it's a separate card (ie not on-board)

Hi

I just fixed it, went to foxconn and downloaded the driver.
I am currently studying for the MCDST, so I think this is great.
