Hi,
I put my USB drive into my work computer and my antivirus program (Symantec Endpoint Protection) popped up.
This is what it said:
File Name: hn.exe Risk: W32Ircbrute Action: deleted Original location: E:\RECYCLER\k-1-3542-4232123213-7676767-8888886\

File Name: usbassistant.exe Risk: Backdoor.Sdbot Action: Cleaned by deletion Original location: e:\RECYCLER\S-1-6-21-2434476501-1644491937-60003330-1213\

File Name: lib.dll Risk: Trojan Horse Action: deleted Original location: C:\Program Files\Shared

Then when I tried to open up my flash drive I received this message E:\is not a valid Win32 application. When I click on My Computer, it does detect the Removable Device (but it won't let me open it).

When I put the flash drive into another computer I get the same message (drive):\is not a valid Win32 application.

I don't really care about what is going on with my work computer. But I really need the files on this device so if anyone can help me I would be so grateful.
btw: I did try to search the database for a similar problem to see if I can solve this on my own but I couldn't find anything that I thought would help. If there is a similar post then please direct me to it...thank you!

Sorry...I no longer need anyone's help. My problem was solved. I was able to open up the flash drive on a third computer and get all my documents.
