Backup and restore center error 0x800423F3

For the past week or so I've been getting an error message telling me that the writer has experienced a transient error when I've tried to create a restore point, or when I've tried to restore from a previously created restore point, and gives me the 0x800423F3 error code. Interestingly enough, backup and restore center shows a number of restore points created automatically by the system or by Revo Uninstaller, but I get the same error message when I try to restore from any of them.

Just for kicks I created a new user account with admin privlidges and tried from there, but I have the same issue.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
