My trusty Ferrari has started playing up

It takes 3 or 4 switching on sessions of about 2 minutes, before coming to life

When it does, their are 'tyre marks' across the screen (What else do you expect from a Ferrari?)

You can just about see them in the screen photo please help :) thanks guys

mr_revill_1994,

So you are able to get into Windows eventually, just that it has those "tire marks" across the screen? Do you have an external monitor you can hook to your Ferrari (I'm guessing this is the Asus laptop?) and see if you get those same marks on the external monitor? Almost sounds like your video card is about to hit the bucket, but let's try a couple these troubleshooting steps first. Also, I would check with the manufacturer's website on how to access the built in diagnostics menu (if it exists). Hopefully your manufacturer has a self-diagnostics tool like most Dell systems.
