Recently I've noticed that the Background option in the Desktop tab of Display Properties is greyed out. I've read several other posts on this board dealing with the same or similar situation but none of the solutions have worked. I recently tried a virus scanner called anti-virus&trojan which reported a virus on my computer but since it was only a trial version it did not repair nor did it provide any information as to the where the virus might be located. Strangely, this seems to be the only virus scanner that has been able to find anything since Avast, Ewido, and all the other online virus scanner have reported that my computer is clean.
