Can I put the Sims 3 on a USB key?

I own the Sims 3, but the family computer is years old and when I try to play it it shuts down. I've tried it on my sister's laptop (I'm not sure what it's called) and it works but it's painfully slow. :) I really want to play it, but my Dell Inspiron Mini 10 doesn't have a disk drive.

Is it possible to put it on to a USB key and play it? If it is possible, then would it work well on my netbook?

No, unfortunately you can't install programs to a USB drive and run them on other machines.

If truth be told I'll be surprised if it works at all on your Mini 10. Netbooks are typically intended only for internet and light use, not heavy gaming.
