Hello to everyone!

For a couple of days I get the following error message everytime I restart my comp: "C:\WINDOWS\system32\services.exe' terminated unexpectedly with the staus code -1073741819", and then system gives me 60 seconds till shutdown.
"Shutdown -a" works, but then system is very unstable (explorer.exe won't start of crashes) and takes ages to execute any command or even freezes.
Some boots were more "sucsessful" than others, so I've menaged to install some security updates from MS, antiviral scaners and registry cleaners, but it doesn't help at all. Norton Internet Security and AntiVirus from PCTools didn't find anything. So I don't think I have a virus (if only a huge one).
My wife told me that she closed some "very big" process couple of days ago (of course she doesn't know which one :) and did something with user in taskmenager, 'cos it seemed to her that internet worked slowly).
I searched the Internet for 2 days but found no adequate solution.
System restore didn't help too.
So I'm ready to try anything thatmakes sense. PLEASE HELP!!!

I'd still...

I suggest that you start a new topic in the Malware Removal and Spyware Removal area.

Before you start a new topic click on this link --> Malware and Spyware Cleaning Guide, Please read before starting a new topic. This will give you a few preparations to make, as well as instruction for posting your OTListIt2 log.

If you are still having problems after being given a clean bill of health from the malware expert, then please return to THIS thread and we will pursue other options to help you solve your current problem(s).
