I haven't changed anything on my Dell desktop. I had trouble with the updates from windows which caused my computer to go the BSOD, but I resolved that issue. Since then, everything has been working great... until now. Now when we start the computer up, windows tries to load, can't, and then goes into the chkdsk thing over and over again. I have NOT gotten a blue screen. But nonetheless, it will not load windows.

There are only a couple things that I can think of that happened:

My power went out this morning and the computer was on, but it is plugged into a surge protector.
And I unplugged the monitor.

That's it. Also, I can boot into safe mode, if that helps any.

I'm so frustrated, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
