Well I might be giving this computer to my friend, and he wants a blank hard drive so he can pretty much have a new computer.

According to the specifications tab, that drive can only burn DVD's and then read DVDs and CDs, it doesn't allow for CD burning.

You may want to erase the hard drive first:Then partition and format the partition:
