Ok so I am taking an ASP.NET class at school. The first thing I did was install IIS on my laptop. I'm running Windows Vista Home Premium. After I installed IIS I installed MS Visual Studio Pro 2008. Then I installed the files for the textbook from murach.com I used all the default directories for the files I downloaded.
In my assignment, it instructs me to go to the IIS manager, to the default site node and create an application called Ch01Cart. I followed all the instructions, but it isn't working. I keep getting the following screen when I try to open the application in my browser. I type http://localhost/Ch01Cart/Order.aspx in the browser bar and the following page appears.
HTTP Error 500.19 - Internal Server Error
