I have a Dell XPS M1330 and my laptop battery won't charge. I can't seem to figure out what the problem is, I think it may be the AC adapter and the Dell website had a thing to download about that but it won't do it unless there is at least 10% of the battery left and I am at 0% Should I try using a different charger or get a new battery or is there a better way?

There are a couple things you can do. First would be to remove the battery and try running the laptop off the AC adapter only. If you have access to a known working charger, I would definitely try that one too. I've seen the battery fail, the AC adapter and the charging port on the laptop fail. It's trial and error to determine the cause.
