I have Vista, my computer takes like 8 to 10 minutes to load and I recieve the following error message:

"Alps Pointing Device Driver has stopped working"

I have updated the driver but still the same problem.

The mousepad is working incorreclty, sometimes I have to click more than 10 times just to do one single click. Please help me!!! Please!!!

Have you tried 'rolling back' the system to a date before the problem started, using System Restore"?
