I cannot find the netcfg.hlp and the netcfg.chm on my computer nor on the installation disk. If anyone has these two files on their computer and can send me a copy of each I would appreciate the efforts. I apparently need both to run dial up correctly. I am running Windows XP SP3 IE8.

Thank you for the assistance.

Those are just help files and you should not need them to dial up correctly.
A little search on Google may bring up some results for these files :

I agree with TheBug that those two files probably won't help, but, if you insist on trying:

http://www.SpywareDr...s/xp_netcfg.zip (620KB - 635,221 bytes)

Contents:
  • netcfg.chm - 08/24/2004 04:00 AM - 535,789 bytes
  • netcfg.hlp - 08/24/2004 04:00 AM - 281,595 bytes

Extract both files into your "C:\Windows\HELP" folder.
Note: These are off of one of my systems running Windows XP Professional with ALL available Microsoft Windows Updates applied.

Thank you so much for all the help. Actually the two files did have an effect on my connection. So I installed them into my help folder.

Thank you again. I appreciate the assistance very much.

"Again"? I haven't "sent" the "xp_netcfg.zip" file to anyone.

You can still download it if you like by simply clicking the link in my post #3 above.
