Problem has been going on for a long time, any video clip I try to play will start and stop.

Have re-installed the driver many times by Microsoft's instructions to no avail, it still gets worse. One computer site said that you couldn't remove it completely so trying to reinstall was a waste of time (they didn't give any options).

If anybody knows how to get it to work, I'll be in your debt, thanks.

Maybe some codecs missing.
