Just got back from vacation and my son said our laptop said it had a Trojan and he closed it down. I've booted it up and it's looping in a logon/logoff. I've tried all the Fn8 options and it still loops. I've inserted the re-install CD to reload Windows and it's not recognizing that either. Yes, I've turned it off, then started it. Can't get to a DOS prompt. Sure hope it's something just dumb that I'm not thinking of! Maybe too much sand and relaxation.
I've gone through all the Trojan postings I can find that popped up in my search on Geeks-to-Go and can't find anything on this that tells me what to do now.
