Hi there,

After recently reinstalling Windows XP, my sound has stopped working altogether. The speakers are connected fine but in the sound area of the control panel it says there are no audio devices? The only sound I receive is that annoying beep from within the computer box :) Anyway, it may be something to do with the drivers or sound card, I'm unsure myself. I would GREATLYappreciate some help as I enjoy having audio from my computer.

Cheers

(PS I can supply a report from Everest if that helps :) )

Is this a name brand system and if so what is the make and model?
If custom built what is the motherboard make and model?
If custom built did you receive a drivers disk for the motherboard?
Yes please attach your Everest report as that may help find the drivers for you.

OK try this.
Go HERE to AsRock's download page and oyur driver should be the 4 in 1 which will include the sound or it will be the 3rd driver down which is just the Audio driver.
