Hi,

I have a recent and up to date installation of McFee Virus Scan (including firewall) on my laptop and I have been receiving alerts about a Trojan Virus

BackDoor-CGZ

which has been detected and cleaned.

But I think the Trojan has already nested somewhere in my computer and I can't shift it. The Trojan takes over my dial up networking and changes settings. When the virus is cleaned by McFee my broadband intenet conection is lost and I have to correct my settings to get back on line.

I have found 2 other members of geeks2go with teh same trojan Gelastoula and dlboucher.

PROBLEM SOLVED. Installed EWIDOS ( 14 day trial version ) and this sorted out the problem.
