I suspect that I have malware, but I'm unable to follow any of the guides due to not being able to install anything onto my computer from the internet.

When I try to run something I finished downloading, I get an error message saying "Application not found".

I am using Firefox, and my computer fails to open Explorer or Safari. I'm asked to select a program I want to use to open either of them, then nothing happens.

Help greatly appreciated.
