there shouldn't be anything stopping it from working with XP as long as the drivers are for XP...of course, reading the spec sheet on the iiyama site does say that the driver is for 7...no mention of xp anywhere on the site...which suggests that it may not work for you.

i have nothing against the product except that i've never heard of them.

Hello, Well I dont know who you are but I take my hat off to you, thanks for your patience but I think you knew which way to go and this was - "T2250MT_XP_Vbeta.zip"
Everything else has failed but this small piece of software and right when I thought you were getting fed up with me. It has worked at least the screen now has some touch control which it certainly didnt before. The problem I have to end this saga is that I dont seem to be able to set it up in any way - the first 3m thing you told me about had a great deal of control for setting up the screen like "CALIBRATION" and "CONTROL PANEL" designed to set up the touch screen but thats all missing and I'm not sure if there should be some sort of screen set up or do I have to take it as it comes.
What do you think? BUT dont think I'm ungrateful because thats just not true, I want to thank you for sticking with me, all I have to do now is find out how this touch screen thing actually works because theres no instructions anywhere for that.So if you stil have a fraction of patience left for me - does this BETA version have some instructions on how to calibrate or work the screen?

Hi, I have that file from iiyama it gives a great description of how to set up the screens base and get the best viewing angle but unfortunately it lacks detail like how to do a double click- how to get to the icons at the edge of the screen with a finger - or how to let me right click to open context menu's - I cant even open a picture in photoshop. These are the things that I'm desperate to have details on and actually these sorts of details should come with the instructions but THEY DONT.

So if you do know where these details could be located I'd be grateful otherwise I will try to get in touch with Iiyama and ask them why I cant get the screen to work out of the box without some outside professional help and why there are no instructions on how to set the [bleep] thing up and make it work correctly.

So this should be the last time we speak = if you cant help anymore and lets face it you have worked miracles so far - but if your finished then I will go and give iiyama a bollocking for making your life a misery. Thank you. Regards, Louis.

Hello, There is nothing wrong with the Touch Screen, it is only Windows 7 Compatible as stated on the website! That is why we dont supply drivers as it uses embedded Tablet PC drivers within Windows 7. Vista also works Single Touch and we have XP Pro driver on our website www.iiyama.co.uk. Hope this helps. not to be "that guy" but you really should make that more clear on your product pages. for someone who doesn't know to look for compatibility (like most people who buy electronics these days) it's difficult to find the fact that the driver supplied only works with 7 and that the xp driver is an experemental beta product.
