Hi,

I wanted to do a fresh install of Windows 7 on my laptop so I booted using the DVD and then at the partition selection step I quick formatted my C drive. After that the installation stopped responding so I hit the reset button and now I dont see any of my partitions at the same step !! Please help! My data! :)(

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

same thing happened to my mums ebook unfortunately we lost the data but recovered most of it using neros hdd recovery.
try disconnecting and reconnecting it
check the bios to see if its there and initialised etc
failing that you can buy an external 2.5 caddy for around £10 and use nero on another pc to recover it
