Hi Sp00n and Welcome to G2G!!!

I understand the frustrations you are haveing, lets see if we can do something about that!

Since you allready have Ewido, just update it!!

If you have problems updating see here
http://www.ewido.net...wnload/updates/

Please download Nailfix from here:
http://www.noidea.us...050515010747824
Unzip it to the desktop but please do NOT run it yet.

Next, please reboot your computer in Safe Mode by doing the following:
1) Restart your computer
2) After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, press F8.
3) Instead of Windows loading as normal, a menu should appear
4) Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode.

For additional help in booting into Safe Mode, see the following site:
http://www.pchell.co.../safemode.shtml

Once in Safe Mode, please double-click on Nailfix.cmd. Your desktop and icons will disappear and reappear, and a window should open and close very quickly --- this is normal.

Then please run Ewido, and run a full scan. Save the logfile from the scan.

Next please run HijackThis, click Scan, and check:

R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page =

R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page =

R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar,LinksFolderName =

R3 - Default URLSearchHook is missing

F2 - REG:system.ini: Shell=Explorer.exe C:\WINDOWS\Nail.exe

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [eyvinmy] c:\windows\system32\rpobopw.exe

O16 - DPF: {2E28242B-A689-11D4-80F2-0040266CBB8D} (KX-HCM10 Control) - http://84.107.19.46:8052/kxhcm10.ocx

O16 - DPF: {745395C8-D0E1-4227-8586-624CA9A10A8D} (AxisMediaControl Class) - http://84.107.19.46:...activex/AMC.cab

Close all open windows except for HijackThis and click Fix Checked.

Locate and Delete this file:

c:\windows\system32\rpobopw.exe<< File Only!

Run MSCONFIG and enable everything in the startup area. To get to MSCONFIG, click on Start -> Run -> type in MSCONFIG -> click OK!

Under the "General" Tab
Make Sure Normal Startup is Checked!!

Click Apply>>OK>>Follow the Prompts to Restart!!

Restart Normal and have the PC Scanned here:
Panda Active Scan

You will need to be using Internet Explorer for the Scan to work!

Save the Report it generates and post it along with a Fresh HiijackThis log amd the Ewido Log!

OK,we are making good progress!

Download rkfiles.zip from here

Reboot into Safe Mode - Very Important !!

Double-click rkfiles.bat inside the folder.

It will scan for a while, so please be patient.

Wait until the DOS window closes!

It will generate a log file which can be located at C:\log.txt.

Post the contents of C:\log.txt in your next reply please.

Locate and Delete

c:\windows\system32\hchyyj.exe

C:\WINDOWS\vsnpstd.exe

c:\windows\system32\rlfzfx.exe

Open HijackThis and put a check by these but DO NOT hit the Fix Checked button yet!

R3 - URLSearchHook: (no name) - _{CFBFAE00-17A6-11D0-99CB-00C04FD64497} - (no file)

F3 - REG:win.ini: run=

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [ytvagks] c:\windows\system32\hchyyj.exe

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [snpstd] C:\WINDOWS\vsnpstd.exe

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [isbckps] c:\windows\system32\rlfzfx.exe

Now Make sure ALL WINDOWS and BROWSERS are CLOSED and hit the Fix Checked Button!!

Restart Normal and have the PC Scanned here
Rav

You will need to be using Internet Explorer for the Scan to work!

Save the Report it generates!

Post back with the Results from RKFiles>Rav>Fresh HijackThis log!

Nice Job!!!!

Everything looks good from here!

Right Click My Computer>Select Properties>Select System Restore>Place a Check by "Turn off System Restore">Move the Slider below that to the "Minimum Position">Click "Apply">Click "OK"

"Restart" the PC>"Uncheck" the Box by "Turn off System Restore">Move the Slider to the "Halfway Position">Click "Apply">Click "OK"

Go ahead and Reconfigure Windows to Hide Files!

Also, Reset the Startup area of Msconfig to the way your prefer you PC to Startup!

Lets give Internet Explorer a little help!

SpywareBlaster:
http://www.javacools...areblaster.html
Update Immediatly!

IE Spyad:
http://www.bleepingc...showtutorial=53
There is a direct download inside and great tutorial also!

Little Assistance keeping "Temp Files" to a "Minimum"!

CCleaner:
http://www.filehippo...d_ccleaner.html
This is to help keep those Temporary Files Cleaned Up!

All you will want to use on this is the Opening Page(Windows Tab)Just Click Run Cleaner and let it do its thing!

CleanUp! 4.0:
http://downloads.ste...p/CleanUp40.exe

If that Link doesnt work, just go to Google.com and Search for CleanUp!

It should be the First Return!!
Once Installed,Open and Click CleanUp! and When Prompted to Log Off,do so!

Some extra Knowledge never hurt anyone!

For Starters, when you feel comfortable with it,Remove Ewido from Add\Remove Programs!

The simplest safest way I know to answer that question is to show you how I did it!

Remember Google is your friend!

Since it looks like you have Norton Internet Security installed, the PC will have quite a load at startup!

To me this load is a tolderable load!

The ones that arent and can be manipulated are in these 2 sections of HijackThis!

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [ccApp] "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared\ccApp.exe"
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [ATIPTA] C:\Program Files\ATI Technologies\ATI Control Panel\atiptaxx.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [C-Media Mixer] Mixer.exe /startup
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Symantec NetDriver Monitor] C:\PROGRA~1\SYMNET~1\SNDMon.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [DAEMON Tools-1033] "C:\Program Files\D-Tools\daemon.exe" -lang 1033
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [NetLimiter] C:\Program Files\NetLimiter\NetLimiter.exe /s
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [SunJavaUpdateSched] C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.5.0_02\bin\jusched.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [WinampAgent] C:\Program Files\Winamp\winampa.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [NeroCheck] C:\WINDOWS\system32\NeroCheck.exe

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [CTFMON.EXE] C:\WINDOWS\system32\ctfmon.exe
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Steam] E:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\Steam.exe -silent
O4 - Global Startup: Microsoft Office.lnk = C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\OSA9.EXE
O4 - Global Startup: Poort voor Symantec Fax Starter Edition.lnk = C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\1043\OLFSNT40.EXE

Almost all of these are uneeded except Symantec!

If in doubt,Google it!(Google the exe)

C:\WINDOWS\System32\smss.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\winlogon.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\services.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\lsass.exe

C:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost.exe
C:\WINDOWS\System32\svchost.exe

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared\ccSetMgr.exe

C:\Program Files\ewido\security suite\ewidoguard.exe
C:\Program Files\Norton AntiVirus\navapsvc.exe
C:\Program Files\Norton AntiVirus\IWP\NPFMntor.exe
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared\SNDSrvc.exe
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared\SPBBC\SPBBCSvc.exe

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared\ccEvtMgr.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\Ati2evxx.exe
C:\WINDOWS\Explorer.EXE
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared\ccApp.exe
C:\Program Files\ATI Technologies\ATI Control Panel\atiptaxx.exe
C:\WINDOWS\Mixer.exe

C:\Program Files\NetLimiter\NetLimiter.exe
C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.5.0_02\bin\jusched.exe

C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe

C:\Program Files\Messenger\msmsgs.exe
C:\Documents and Settings\Rusty\Bureaublad\hijackthis\HijackThis.exe

Most of those are needed and some will disappear as you remove the 04s with HijackThis and Uncheck the corresponding boxes under Msconfigs Startup Tab!

Some but not much of the load can be eased up by reducing the number of uneeded Service running!

Here are 2 sites I use

http://www.blackviper.com/

http://www.theelderg...vices_guide.htm

Use those links carefully,I always use the "Safe" Column!

Thats really about all you can do!

Hope this helps ya out!

Happy Safer Surfing!
