Computer spazzing out

Hi. I'm a first time user of this site. I don't know if anyone can help me before I have to spend money to have my computer diagnosed and fixed. Having a constant problem with it. Never a day goes by where I'm not unplugging the computer (no less than 10 times) just to get it to shut down. It freezes and my mouse pointer will go berserk across the screen and seems to always open the Start menu. I've used 4 antivirus programs and not one has indicated I have an infected computer which leads me to believe that it's something undetectable. Also run Malwarebytes that doesn't really catch anything and CCleaner, just to clear out the junk files.
