My laptop freezes at various points during start up, can't boot into safe mode but sometimes it works (like now). When it does work lots of "x program has encountered a problem and needs to close" messages appear and I am worried that I have infected another computer as the same "rundllasapp32 has encountered a problem and needs to close" message appears.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
