anyone know the difference between hps wireless lan card and their premium wireless lan card? is it worth it to pay $30 more for the premium?

Probably the chipset used, but it's hard to say for sure without part and possibly revision numbers.

Also, one could be PCI and the other USB, or even PCI Express.

If you gave model numbers I could look, but generally speaking with the better card the internet will seem a little zippier. (faster)
