Hi, i have recently purchased the Sims 2 Double Deluxe, and it works fine when I run it on my Windows 7 PC. But I would like to use it on my older XP pc, which will run the game, but doesn't have a DVD drive to play it. I have already installed it by sharing my DVD drive on my Windows 7 computer and installing it wirelessly, but it will not run the game this way. Is there a way to get the game to work without having to upgrade to a DVD drive in my old computer?

Unfortunately not.
You will need to put a DVD drive in that machine before that game will run. It's looking for the DVD and will not run without it.
