I have an Asus eee pc...first I had the hal.dll missing or corrupt message. I purchased an external drive - booted from the ecternal drive with the setp cd. The cd recovered my pc back to the original state. Got the message saying to remove the CD and reboot and now I get the windows/system32/config/system file missing or corrupt message. I cannot proceed from here...

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
