I have a compaq presario CQ60 laptop running Vista Home Premium SP2. I tried to upgrade from IE7 to IE8. When I attempted I received an error message stating that IE8 will not work on current OS. Does anyone know why?
Thank you..in adavance- Marc

Oh bummer.. no Internet Explorer.. :) Ever used Mozilla Firefox, or Google Chrome? In my personal experience, Internet Explorer is not only a terrible browser, but a security risk. Either way..

Have you tried completely uninstalling Internet Explorer, and reinstalling it? LINK
