A few days ago I was infected by some sort of virus or malware when I tried to download a torrent (suggestion of friend and I was already very hesitant). I haven't completely gotten rid of the virus, but I'm working on it. Now, if I try to go onto the internet or run pretty much any program I get a message that asks me to choose program that I want to run it with. My options are programs like paint, word, windows media player, etc. which obviously don't open any programs that I want to use. Even if I do something simple like trying to pull up my computer information under my control panel I get a message that states "C:\WINDOWS\system32\rundll32.exe"......and if I remember correctly I have been seeing this message a lot. I can't open any anti-virus applications, my email, internet....nothing, without seeing the message that asks me to choose a program. Any advise?

On a side note, even though this is post is not in the virus forum, if you have a suggestion on how to clean this stuff up that would be great. I think the virus I got is the one that claims to be a Windows Antivirus program....and is driving me crazy. LOL

I'm quite sure this is easier than I am making it....but my problem is that I can't run that program (TFC Program) because it asks me to choose a program (word, paint, etc.)
