My USB stoped working

yo i tuned my comp on and when i try use my usb's it makes that funny blep noise but it doesn't show up the removable device in my computer

I have had this before when trying to connect my Blackberry after installing XP SP2, is actually relatively simple, go into your device manager and remove everything listed under USB, go to the top of the device manager and click on computer, refresh and your computer will re-discover the USB device/s, do the driver thing and you should then be good to go.
