Hi. This is my first ever post. I recently upgraded to iTunes 9.0.3 and shortly after the upgrade I was unable to access the iTunes store. I've attached a copy of the screen shot from when i tried. I found someone's post (somewhere) that described a process of disabling items and then re-enabling them under Parental Controls in preferences. It worked that time. Then after about two weeks I am suddenly unable to access the iTunes store again. This time it started after I tried to click through from a link on the iTunes website to display a song so i could purchase it.

Does anyone have any thoughts on how to fix this? Apple's response was to uninstall it and then reinstall it.

Oops - I just discovered I"m not allowed to upload my screen shot. Here is what the message said on the iTunes store screen when i tried to access it

One Moment Please.
Connecting to the iTunes Store.
Loading

If iTunes doesn't open, click the iTunes application icon in your Dock or Windows Task Bar.

Thanks

Wayne

Same propblem here, exactly the same, and problem was causing by trying to buy a song, after bringing up browser while listening to Panda, which in turn brought up my Itunes App. I will be checking back if anyone has any suggestions, so far, I don't have a clue. Connection is good, etc., Store just hangs at connection.

I found this answer at the Apple Support site and it did work for me. If you don't follow it exactly, it won't work. I hope this helps at least some people who may be looking for a fix. The below information is a direct cut and paste from the post: :)

The suggestion was to:
click edit in iTunes
click Preferences
click Parental Controls
Under Disable, check the boxes for "iTunes" and "Allow access to iTunes U". (NOTE: It is important to check BOTH of these boxes. When I only checked the box for "iTunes" but not box for "Allow access to iTunes U", this procedure did not help me.)
This opened up iTunes U, though I could not log into my account or get into iTunes Store.
Then I went back to Parental Controls and under Disable, I unchecked the box for iTunes.
When I did this, the iTunes store opened for me.

I live alone. I've never used the parental controls on iTunes. I don't know why I was locked out of the iTunes store in the middle of a session and I don't know why following the procedure above let me back in.

I hope this info is helpful to others.
