i lost my background and my ability to change my background

can anybody help?

whenever i go to display propreties, it only has 2 options
screen saver and settings

i ran macaffee, aol spyware and a-squared malware remover
but i still cant change my background

i didnt change anything

i change my background about once a month ot every 2 months
i dont touch the screen saver cuz i dont need one

first, you have a malware infestation

Please go to the malware forum in my signature and follow the instructions at the top....Especially the CLICK HERE .

That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty, then post a hijackthis log in THAT forum.
