I have tried to upgrade from Office XP to Office 2003, the operating system is XP. I continually received the following message for about 35 different fonts:

"Error 1907, Could not Register Font. Verify that you have sufficient permission to install fonts and the system supports the font."

The options are to Retry, Ignore or Cancel. If I press ignore the install process is completed but when I go into Outlook for example, there are certain characters/fonts that do not exist.

I have admin privileges and the system and I have never had this problem with any other installation.

Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be?

Thanks!
Don

Thanks Stu. I have tried to move the font in manually, but for example I copied the font into a folder and tried to install but the font would not show up in the font installation selection window.

Tried to do the same thing directly off of the CD, but would not work. I'm stumped.
