Microsoft Visual C++Runtime Library, Runtime Error

I just reinstalled Calendar Creator v9 (by Broderbaud) and as soon as I tried to run the software I received the following error:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error!
Program: C:\Program Files\Broderbaud\Calendar Creator\Creator.exe
abnormal program termination

Of course, no help from Broderbund because this is an older version and out of the support timeframe. I know the latest version only costs $30, but I don't need all the bells and whistles in the new version and this one has worked fine for the last several years.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
