I am trying to disable the password prompt on startup with windows 2000 pro.
Anyone have any idea if you can do this, and if so how?

Thanks :tazz:

When the computer comes up before it'll go into the OS it says a user name and password, I have it so I don't have to type in the password but I still need to click to load of the OS - and by disable i did mean skip

load tweak ui

http://www.microsoft...g/nttweakui.asp

(this is for windows 2000, xp has different version)

Install, then go to control panel, load it, then look for a setting called auto logon...put in your username and hit set.

That's the easy way
