Hey Guys,

I am looking for XP drivers for this Model HP laptop. I reimaged w/ XP Pro and cannot find drivers on the HP site anywhere. Vista and 7 drivers are on there but not XP. Anyone have any idea's.

I also contacted hp and they sent me to a 3rd party sight w/ drivers that DO NOT work?

Thanks,
-Jason

Hello,

Should be on the HP website.. it's not as if Windows XP is gone yet :)

Is this not yours? http://h10025.www1.h...product=3557106

For some drivers of the DV6 models, go to the CTO.

Learned this after reinstalling OS's on a 6449us 101 times...

You are having trouble finding drivers because new computers that have Vista or Win 7 on can not be taken back to XP. They do not make drivers for previous OS's.
You will find them, but it is generally a hunt.

Try what was suggested. If that does not work we can continue to look.

I was having the same problem. When I first bought my HP Pavilion dv6629us and realized how bad Windows Vista sucked I decided to downgrade right away. It took me about a month or so but I found them all. I uploaded them for other people to download. If a link doesn't work just PM me and let me know.
