Was wondering if my son connects his Dell laptop to mine when I have my Verison wireless broadband card active. Would he see the samething that is on my screen only?

No

Remote connection needs to be allowed by your Firewall first
And then specifically allow his connection to view your system

Thanks for your response and let me see if I understand it.
Checking my Norton firewall settings it appears that they are set for outbound transmission, so do I need an Ethernet cable between the laptops? Sounds also per Visa firewall help menu that I might have to allow his device (make an exception). Also any problem having different Windows systems (Visa -vs- 7)?
PS- if you haven't noticed, I'm not real computer savvy.
