I have been through the Malware site and seem to be clean, however, since then my task manager has not been working. In fact if you press control alt delete it should bring up a window to let you do one of several things: Lock the computer, log off, shut down, task manager etc. When I press control, alt, delete the task manager shows up but there is no processes tab, no performance tab etc... Also there is not red x to shut it down. In fact you have to shut down to get it to turn off.

Any ideas?

Thank you,

Keith

OK,

Thank you for that advice I have the tabs back for the task manager. I still have the problem that when I click control alt delete the only thing that pops up is the task manager. The windows security box does not load and give me the options of locking the computer, logging off, shutting down changing password and so on.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Keith
