What program should I use to delete files from my computer completely

I tried file recovery program to see whether the files I emptied from the recycle bin were recoverable and to my surprise, some of it was. I want to know which program I should use to completely delete the files (that are already deleted) so there's the least possibility of it being recovered?

I tried File Shredder but it is only able to work with the files I want to delete (not the ones already emptied in recycle bin)...
