I have had this problem for a long time now. But it seems like computer is being slower and slower.
If I open up the web browser it takes more den 30 sec. And the same is if I go from one to another web page, it takes long time.
And open up "My computer" is a little bit slow sometimes.
But the web browser is really a pain.
This computer (2.4 GHz, 1,5 GB RAM) is as slow as my very old computer which have only 200 MHz CPU!
But playing games is no problem, but it is just the annoying web browser.
I have scanned the computer for virus, malware, adware etc.
I have scanned it and removed some viruses, so it is clean now.

I am using the following softwares to make the computer in good condition:
Ashampoo WinOptimizer
SecurityCheck
TFC OldTimer Tools
XoftSpy SE
Auslogics Disk Defrag
Malwarebytes´Anti-Malware
Reg Cleaner
Spyboot - Search & Destroy
Ntregopt
Registry Booster
Temp Cleaner
and avast!

Shortly, I am using all kinds of possible softwares that are supposed to make the computer in trim.
But nothing seems to help.
I have posted this problems here for a few weeks ago, and I was helped a little and was advised to post in another thread in the virus section.
But since it seem that I removed all kinds of virus, it was no use of post there.
So I still have the problem with super slow browser.

Let's make sure, everything is gone...

I suggest that you start a new topic in the Malware Removal and Spyware Removal area.

Before you start a new topic click on this link --> Malware and Spyware Cleaning Guide, Please read before starting a new topic. This will give you a few preparations to make, as well as instruction for posting your OTListIt2 log.

If you are still having problems after being given a clean bill of health from the malware expert, then please return to THIS thread and we will pursue other options to help you solve your current problem(s).

The solution is very simple.
Get rid of all the rubbish.
I bet the registry booster is Uniblue registry booster.(Am I correct) whether I am or not there is no such thing as a registry booster. They are registry cleaners and 99% of them are rubbish and a very sizeable percentage are dangerous.
What will you gain by altering the registry to remove the perceived unrequired entries. Most tests result in less than one second on xp loading times. However most tests also prove dangerous results. They are not needed. XP manages its own registry very well. The ONLY time any alteration to the registry is needed, other than XP itself, is when various entries have been corrupted by a virus. Reg.Cleaner, Reg.booster, Temp.cleaner (XP diskclean up does it very well with IE delete browsing history) Disk Defrag XP even analyses it for you, before you defrag to tell you if you need to. ONLY ever use ONE spyware, ONE antivirus and ONE firewall. Microsoft Security Essentials (free) is an anti-virus and spyware. If you do not trust Windows own Firewall, Comodo is one of the best free ones.
IF you are going to get rid of all those, I will willingly help, if you are NOT, there is nothing more to be said, as far as I am concerned.
