Does anybody know where I can get free, no-account access to Usenet (preferably web-based)?

@BobLewiston

If you post via Google Groups you may find few others reading your posts as some of the more pretentious posters will kill file you.

Get yourself a decent Windows news reader like Mozilla Thunderbird and post using a free server like eternal-september.org.

When you configure your news reader, do not use your proper email address. Use something like "[email protected]', which will not send spam to a real address. The domains example.org, example.net, and example.com are reserved for just such a purpose.
