If you simply want to get rid of Cookies, use CCleaner.
If you stored personal/private data on the hard drive and you want to make absolutely certain that all of your information is irretrievable, physically destroy the hard drive.
If you're not willing to buy another hard drive, use DBAN to thoroughly erase the hard drive and then re-install the Operating System.
Another option may be available. If it has a 'System Recovery'/'Factory Restore'-type partition, use it. However, some of your data may still be retrievable, (with the right tools).

Erasing the OS is not really a option.I'm on a loaner laptop from Best Buy
Download TFC by OldTimer to your desktop
- Please double-click TFC.exe to run it. (Note: If you are running on Vista, right-click on the file and choose Run As Administrator).
- It will close all programs when run, so make sure you have saved all your work before you begin.
- Click the Start button to begin the process. Depending on how often you clean temp files, execution time should be anywhere from a few seconds to a minute or two. Let it run uninterrupted to completion.
- Once it's finished it should reboot your machine. If it does not, please manually reboot the machine yourself to ensure a complete clean.

Why can't I used the "InPrivate" feature on IE 8?

Great ideal but I would still suggest the above first. This would clear anything already in the history and make sure nothing is left over. Then run the In Private feature if you would like.

Thanks top all for the suggestions. I ran the TFC tool and the system rebooted. I am using "InPrivate" browsing.
Again thank you.
Again thank you.
