Hi there,

I downloaded startuplite for my laptop OS is Vista and when I click continue I get the following error for the following items.

"Error on Value: SunJavaUpdateSchedule. There was an error creating a msconfig key."

The same error message for the following:
SigmatelTrayApp
Igfxtray
hotkeycmds
persistence

I've run malwarebytes and nothing found...virus scan and nothing found.

Computer runs fine but thought that it would be nice to have a program that stops unnecessary items to run on on startup. I like the idea of keeping my computer clean and not run files that aren't necessary.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

I am not familiar with startuplite...
I use BillP's WinPatrol that does a great job doing what your trying to do so if you you would like to try it uninstall startuplite and get WinPatrol here...
launch it and click on the startup programs tab and get a screenshot for me...

if you don't know how to post a screenshot...go here...
